Newcastle Olympic Football Academy: About Us
The Newcastle Olympic Football Academy (NOFA) will serve the needs of individual players regardless of age, team, or development phase. The training will be based on developing attributes that are consistent with NOFC’s philosophy and ethos regarding technical ability, work ethic, and personal character.
NOFA will provide various services including a pathway development program (PDP) and a skill enhancement program (SEP).
In an effort to provide supplementary group training to Newcastle Olympic players, we have developed a club-based Pathway Development Program (PDP).
This program will be for 10-weeks and will be offered to all players in the following age groups – Boys 9-14s and Girls 10-17s. Sessions will be on Monday afternoons/evenings (at Islington Park or Darling St Oval). The training sessions will be undertaken by senior NOFC technical department, and there will be guest coaches (from without the club) at selected times throughout the program.
The Academy (NOFA) will also provide alternative training options to all players through our Skill Enhancement Program (SEP). This program is also available to players from without the club system.
If your child/player would like to participate in the PDP or SEP, please contact me so that I can provide further information regarding logistics and payment details.
